UroLift performs better than Rezume in the “real world”

A recent study compared the early outcomes of UroLift (prostatic urethral lift) versus Rezume (prostate steam therapy) in patients in the community/”real work” setting. The early outcomes show superior benefits with UroLift across the board including decreased rates of needing a catheter, bigger improvement in urinary symptoms, higher patient satisfaction, faster return to normal activities, and decreased sexual side effect. This study demonstrates UroLift as the emerging standard of care for eligible patients with bothersome lower urinary tract symptoms.
