Delaying prostate surgery for prostate cancer does not increase risk

The 2020 coronavirus pandemic has led to disruptions in medical care. A review of prostate cancer patients, including those with more aggressive cancer, did not see any worse outcomes if their surgery was delayed 3 to 12 months. This helps provide reassurance to patients wishing to know hold off on immediate surgery due to the national healthcare crisis.
